Building Day 1

So today my Thai homestay family started building my new room that I will call home for the majority of my time over in Thailand. First picture is while the soil is being laid to flatten the land which is being spread out by a local tractor:

Next mum and dad want to take down the car bay so they can build all the way across. You can see them removing the corrugated iron sheets before dismantling the car bay.

 

Mixer looks like he is enjoying the new development playing around in the dirt :)

The dirt is fully now being fully spread out and you can see in the background of the first picture 6 housing support pillars.

They chopped down a tree and cut it into firewood to make room for the new home.

The first construction accident happened to one of the villagers who had just been passing the house and thought he would help out. Unfortunately he cut his finger but nothing to serious and they disinfected and bandaged him up :)
